Qualifications - Master’s in Lingustics (University of Florida).

Certificates: TESL (Teacher of English As a Second Language) University of Florida, 2009.

Rick Glasby (England)

Hello, I'm Rick from Sheffield in central England. During and after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University I have been working as an English teacher, teaching both English students and European nationals. When teaching both individuals and groups I prefer to use a more friendly style of teaching, using free-flowing conversation whilst also incorporating grammar and business (if desired by the student). I also have a number of teaching certificates.

Wayne Baskett (USA)

Wayne Baskett (USA) has been teaching English Language in Moscow for two years. Wayne is from Seattle, Washington USA….

His down to earth style of teaching English has proved one more time the superiority of a communicative approach over academic drilling in English language instruction.

Wayne holds a number of teaching certificates. Many of his Russian students are intrigued by his style, because as an author, screenwriter and poet he can combine the literary, high level, standard EL input with the indigenous, colorful layers of American Slang.

Steven Rambow (USA)

Steven is one of our founders and the most effective IBClub instructors.

He received his higher education in the USA and Germany, and has three degrees — MBA, Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, and an Associate of Arts. He also holds a TEFL certificate. In addition to teaching in the USA, Steven has also worked as a teacher in Germany and in Russia. He has extensive experience instructing Russian corporate employees, executives, and high level businessmen.

IBClub is now launching a NEW IBClub-Skype revolutionary project which is aimed at gathering many people to one Club session from different locations around Russia, eliminating travel time and time zones. Steven is going to play a key leadership role in this project.  

Dan Perris (England)

Dan Perris is from the South of England. He is CELTA trained and has over three years teaching experience.
Dan is dedicated to helping clients of all levels improve their English and is currently an English instructor of the IBClub.

His specialities include:

• General and Business English - he has a number of Russian business employees, who he teaches on a daily basis.
• Helping clients improve their conversational English.
• Two year’s experience training English language learners for the TOEFL test. His unique teaching style, with up-to-date learning material and enthusiastic manner, has become very popular with clients. Currently, Dan is teaching Russian IBClub and EIM members one-to-one via Skype.

Jon Simon (USA)

Jon Simon is originally from Chicago, Illinois, where in his student days at the University of Chicago he studied languages, economics, statistics, and business.

Griffin Kilpatrick (Australia)

My name is Griffin Kilpatrick, and I am an Australian with several years experience of teaching English. I am in Moscow to see more of the world. I love to write, learn, travel. At IBClub meetings, we give Russian people a deeper insight into many aspects of the English Language, such as essential phrases, idiom, and this provides them with a greater level of control over their conversational ability. Through me, guests can also learn uniquely Australian language conventions and colloquialisms that will contribute to their mastery of the language. I also teach one-on-one upon request. Jason Sharon (USA)

Hi, my name is Jason Sharon. I am from Miami, Florida. I have been in Moscow now for over three years. I have spent vast amounts of time in multinational corporations and small businesses and. Upon completion of my MBA in Moscow I intend on immersing myself into Russian business culture. My native language is American English. I am also a qualified English Language Instructor and have a number of students in Moscow. I am willing to share my expertise with the IBClub members during the meetings.
